Seduzioni Diamonds by one of the most famous showgirls in Italy, Valeria Marini, is the perfect answer for real or wannabe showgirls. The Spring Summer 2008 collection was full of dualities that toyed at the struggles of ones a mistress may have.

Catherine Deneuve, in Belle du Jour, is the perfect example of a bourgeois woman living parallel lives. Seduzione Diamonds draws from Catherine’s French charme creating sinfully seductive outfits that are dignified and dark at the same time.

Playing with the Belle du Jour theme of fantasy and reality, the collection uses a blend of lingerie and outerwear mixing the fabrics and designs from both. Nothing is as it seems yet everything leads to the fulfillment of fantasies.

A shower of kisses is one of the new prints for the season as lips and big kisses help create the vintage sex appeal. Sparkling lip tattoos adorn the legs of the models while thick chains filled with charms adorn the accessories. Shoes come only in one form, high and extra sparkly, as jewels encrust ultra-high heels.

Jeans and sportswear take on the showgirl jazz with crystal embellishments on ultra-tight and ultra-high designs. There is no dressing-down for this “belle du jour” but only dressing-up for the right occasions.
