Martijn Bal Leaves Verri Uomo

DALLAS & MILAN, Apr 20, 2005/ FW/ --- Martijn Bal, Creative Director of Verri Uomo has unexpectedly left the house according to a short announcement by its press office, Barbieri & Ridet.

Martijn Bal who graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts in London trained under Dirk Bikkembergs and Dries Van Noten before working at Verri Uomo.

His Fall/Winter 2005 collection that was shown last January in Milan was his last collection for the house.

Bal is currently in Paris, working in a new project, according to the announcement.

Bal’s Spring / Summer 2005 collection that is currently in stores follows the very popular androgyny trend for the season.

Created for the urban male with discerning taste, it is a statement in black, white and different shades of gray in-between with a few splashes of color for excitement.
