SYDNEY, May 4, 2005/ FW/ --- Concrete zombies and urban warriors are about to make their new uniform Zambesi. Last night New Zealand’s finest sent out a collection that is bound to wow metropolitan dwellers and street wear fanatics.

In a somber colour palette, models in a trance like state to rock star guitars and drums looked like they knew where they were going. Showcasing both men’s and womenswear, comfort is of the essence in the Zambesi wardrobe, as pant crutches hang low, elastic waists take centre stage, large waist bands are at the top of desirable pants, pockets are oversized and darts play with volume.

Whether wearing a wrinkled single buttoned men’s suit, a puff long sleeve bolero or double layered knit dress, Van sneakers are imperative.

But the darkness remains sensual as backs of tops are forgotten, stripped away to reveal flesh and long johns are worn under summer dresses.

As they continue to grow, Zambesi doesn’t seem to miss a step.
