General_Idea_Lookbook_013NEW YORK, Feb 19, 2015/ — With the intriguing title “G.I. League”, General Idea designer Bumsuk Choi proposes a change in the venerable preppy look with slightly rebellious twist to the classic look.

Inspired by the hallowed halls of the Ivy League schools, Choi tapped into his imagination to introduce updated twists on classic silhouettes for the slightly rebellious “preppy”.

Standout pieces include the oversized peacoat produced in upgraded wool blends, denim and cotton fabrics. Evening coats with double-layer overlapping contrasting collared lapels round out the collection.

The standard, General Idea sophisticated tones of Navy, Gray and Black return this season complimented by denim accents throughout
