Delta Air Lines Introduces New Low-Fare Airline Service

DALLAS,Jan 30, 2003/ FW/ --- A new airline called "Song" is making its debut this spring -- and
for the flying public, it means low fares, and better on-board amenities.
A new airlines is taking to the skies. The new service is called "SONG" and will initially
serve the Florida-Northeast markets.
The Boeing 757s will feature some of the most advanced in-flight technology available --
such as in-seat personal video monitors, 24 channels of satellite TV programming, video
on demand, streaming mp3 audio programming and video games that allows play between customers.
John Selvaggio, President of Song says about the new airline, "It's our goal to make flying the way
it ought to be -- fun, exciting, interesting and simply relaxing -- whatever the customer's
looking for that day. We're introducing choices into the experience. And, we're going to
ask customers to vote products and services on or off the airplanes."
One-way fares will be as little as $79 dollars and will not require a Saturday night stay.
Song, a solely owned subsidiary of Delta, flies its maiden voyage from New York City to
West Palm Beach on April 15th -- income tax day.
Just the day you might want to -- save a little money.
