From June 25th to July 18th, 2018, in the midst of Couture Fashion Week, concept store Montaigne Market freshly relocated to 18 avenue Matignon, welcomes the pop-up store Mimi et Lili sont au premier. Longtime friends, Liliane Jossua, founder of Montaigne Market, and Michel Klein, a leader in French fashion, wanted to celebrate their bond by integrating their worlds.

A complete takeover of the first floor by Michel Klein where he will present what he describes as his family of love. Thought to be a reconstruction of his own apartment, the 100 square meter space will welcome more than 30 guests, all dear of Michel. In other words, an intimate space, where brands and personalities do not hold the titled-role: it is their complicity.

At Mimi and Lili, it is not the total looks that dress the walls and racks, but simply fashion, beauty, art or lifestyle, regrouped by affinities. There is jewelry designed by Loulou de la Falaise, further away, paintings by Francesco Clemente, Keith Haring or Bettina Rheims, and here bags made by Willy van Roy who was the muse of Helmut Newton …

In addition, there is, Lisa Eisner’s couture jewelry straight from Los Angeles, original photographs of the A Gallery, sweets from Les Bâtons, the enchanting creations of Elie Top, an exclusive Fragonard perfume and of course the master of joyous and colorful ready-to-wear: Mimi Liberté.

Last surprise? The appearance of Nicolas Ouchenir, who holds the top of the bill by sketching every guest with his star pencil. A dive into the creative imagination of the calligrapher, to better illustrate the spirit of this great tribe.

Certainly, a warm and personal space, where you can feel at home, to better relax and discover the friends of Mimi & Lili. If the fashions go by, the friendship remains, and it is worth celebrating it with this sweet moment …
