jackbb_dakotaCOSTA MESA, California, Jan 27, 2010 / — BB Dakota has good news for fans of the vampire movie, Twilight. Nikki Chapman, the Brit designer, has created a complete Twilight-inspired collection under the Jack label for BB Dakota.

BB Dakota created the original jacket worn by Bella in the film and later by Twilight fans everywhere. Now, all those fashion lovesick vampires who want the look of the clothes in the film can buy them at select boutiques nationwide.

The collection features soft hoodies, flannel shirts, skinny corduroy jeans, denim leggings, and the original jacket along with updated versions. These clothes have a fashion edge, but are very comfortable and wearable. There are stud and zipper details, raw edged finishes as well as military buttons and details to update the grunge look, and a set of tiny red-embroidered vampire fang holes in the neck of each piece.

BB Dakota founder and CEO, Gloria Brandes said, “That blue Jack Twilight jacket made famous by Kristen Stewart’s character, Bella, has become a cult classic. So, we wanted to expand on the concept of that girl living in suburban America who wants clothes that are practical, comfortable, and do not look like she is trying too hard, but that are cool and updated at the same time. I believe we have achieved that look with the new collection for both fans of the film as well as for the type of average American girl the film reflects; including certain vampires.”

The collection of 12 pieces debuting in Fall 2010 will retail for $30 to $84 and will be sold in specialty boutiques and stores nationwide.
