NEW YORK, Sep 10, 2012 / — in a season where black and gray are the predominant colors, Lela Rose came through for Persephone and sent out a delightfully colorful collection that just took your breath away.

She of course sent out the now ubiquitous fifty shades of gray, but the ink blue, bright coral and sunflower contrasted beautifully with the silver, black and gray.

Inspired by the works of American artist Jim Hodges, the collection reflected the artist’s signature curtains of flowers and woven webs. These concepts were translated into floral prints and lace motifs.

It’s been almost 10 years when Lela Rose took Bryant Park by storm when she debuted at New York Fashion Week and she is as exuberant then as she is now.
