LAS VEGAS, Oct 11, 2012/ — Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled a wax figure of pop superstar Madonna just 48 hours before two sold-out shows on the Strip. Specially created for the Las Vegas location of Madame Tussauds, the figure’s costume was inspired by the pop star’s 2012 Super Bowl performance. The headdress was fashioned by famous London designer Philip Treacy, whose work has been worn in “Sex and the City,” the “Harry Potter” movies, and at the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
