"It's always a good idea to invent something that people could use that will cater to
everybody's need," said Jonathan Berlin, Managing Director of Universal Display
about their company's latest mannequin, PURE.
Created for a simple and easy styling of dresses, the Pure mannequins is a cross
between a dressmaker form and a mannequin.
They are very small eggheads with no feet (translation - there is no need for shoes)
and removable heads.
It comes in one piece for easy maintance. In short, it is an inexpensive mannequin,
yet high in design.
"In the fast-paced retail world, time is always of the essence," explained Berlin.
"Floor displays change constantly. The Pure mannequin is easy to change and easy to
maintain, something that a lot of Visual Merchandisers want for their floor displays.
We wanted to fulfill that need, hence we created the Pure mannequins," Berlin added.
Mannequin Trends
"Are abstract mannequins the trend nowadays?" FW inquired.
"Not necessarily," Berlin answered. "Pure was created as a response to a need. Our
Lounge series which are realistic mannequins is still enjoying brisk sales. It is always
good to have a complete line for our clients.
