Apr 1, 1999/ FW/ --- Where do mannequins go when they retire? The unlucky ones gets thrown to the dumpster, while the lucky ones find a home with collectors.

Leia is one of the lucky ones. A smiling Decter mannequin manufactured during the 70s is a gem of a prize for a collector. There are very few smiling mannequins around, and since Decter had changed ownership since Leia was manufactured, chances are the mold for her no longer exists.

This is also a lesson on how a mannequin can change looks by just changing their wigs and using accessories. Here are the Many Faces of Leia, the Smiling Mannequin.
