Mannequins in Milan PARIS, Jan 23, 2006/ FW/ --- Last week was the Milan Uomo Fall 2006 season, which means that the new collections for menswear were previewed. However, it was a different story in store windows as the Sale Season raged on.

This is only January, the middle of winter, hence store windows are displaying coats and jackets, perfect for the season.

And, as stores get ready for the spring merchandise that will start coming in February, they try to make space on the sales floor by having big sales.

Mannequins in Milan One thing that is different from the U.S., the price of the merchandise is actually pinned on the clothes! It’s a different style; yet the objective is the same, get the customers inside the store.

One good thing to know – realistic mannequins are alive and well in Milan. These store windows are located at the Duomo area, the literal and figurative center of Milan, where everything meets – the roads, the trams, the buses and subway all have stops in this area.
