BERLIN, With the closing show by STUDIO KAPROL, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin ended its 14th season today. More than 50 designers presented their Autumn/Winter 2014 Collections from January 14-17, 2014 at Strasse des 17. Juni, Brandenburg Gate.Facts and Figures about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week BerlinParticipating designers came from Bulgaria, Denmark, Greece, Croatia, Laos, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia, Bosnia and Turkey. •Registered press and buyers visited from Austria, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Great Britain, Finland, France, Georgia, Greece, Germany, Italy, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary and the USA.

The event venue size of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin was 3,700sqm

The catwalk where models presented the newest collections was 31.5m in length and 3m in width •550 lights illuminated the shows and 44 loudspeakers were responsible for acoustics

It took 1,650 days and 19,800 man hours to ensure all proper techniques needed were up and running

In total 512 people helped to make Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin possible, 187 were volunteers

225 bottles of hairspray, many kilos of gel and hair pomade were used

To create the newest trends in terms of hairstyling 40 professional blow driers, 40 styling irons and 40 curling tongs as well as a great number of brushes, combs and pins were used in four days.
