MYKITA is serious about eyewear, but no one can accuse it of taking the job too seriously that it has forgotten to have fun. Take the newly minted KITT sunglasses for example.

Designed as a collaborative effort with London-based fashion designer Martin Rose, the KITT is a standout eyewear design that is expectedly ahead of the curve. Setting an offbeat eyewear aesthetic, KITT reveals the inclination of both labels to push boundaries, but also a shared design language with a keen understanding for shape and proportion.

The faux discount shop packaging sets the tone: KITT is a frame that does not want to be serious. A bold riff on the euphoric style of the Nineties dance scene, this would-be cat-eye subverts the wraparound shades of the era with a cropped, arrow-straight top line and a super-flat profile. Solid colours in Antique Red, New Lime, Royal Blue and Black round off the irreverent vibe.

The tongue-in-cheek spirit of the product packaging carries on via subtle inscriptions on the sun lenses.
KITT by MYKITA + MARTINE ROSE will arrive to MYKITA Shops and E-Shop, as well as selected fashion stores in mid-April 2018.
