A New Year And New Jewelry Sections at JA New York
JA New York Adds Special Pavilions at Winter 2004 Show
NEW YORK, Oct 14, 2003/ FW/ --- Two new pavilions have been added to the JA New York
Winter 2004 show, held January 25 – 27 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
The Inner Circle™ and the Collection Showcase, will both debut with an impressive
display of fine jewelry from the industry’s most respected manufacturers and designers.
In addition, the Italian pavilion will be re-located to the main show floor.
Joining the other pavilions and special sections on the main floor, The Inner Circle™
will feature some of the finest jewelry manufacturing companies in one elegant pavilion,
making it an ideal stop for buyers to preview the newest collections.
Attendees will also be able to discover the newest jewelry from noted designers exhibiting
in the Collection Showcase section, which will be located in the Special Events Hall.
It will have its own entrance, as well as an entrance off the main show floor.
The JA New York Winter 2004 show will open a half hour early on Sun., Jan. 25 at 9:30 A.M.
and will close at 6:00 P.M. Show hours for Mon., Jan. 26 are 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and
10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Tues. Jan. 27.
JA New York’s Red Carpet Jewelry Tours will be held on Sun. and Mon.
Drew Lawsky, show director for JA New York, said, “With more than 950 exhibitors participating
in the winter show, these new sections will make the JA New York experience even more
exciting for buyers. Also we have re-designed the show floor, which will provide
greater convenience for buyers to do their shopping. This year, we’re expecting more
than 8,500 buyers. This will be a great show for a fresh new year in the jewelry business.”
International exhibitors from Italy, Turkey, Germany, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, U.K., and Brazil will be returning to the show as well. Other sections will include the High-End Jewelry Section, Platinum Pavilion, the American Time Clock and Watch Section, New Product Gallery, Gift Gallery, Diamond Dealers Club’s Diamond Bourse, and the Bench Jeweler’s Marketplace.
A new seminar series sponsored and developed by Jewelers of America will be tailored to help retailers improve their profits in 2004.
