"Editors Speak Out": Journalists Roundtable of Jewelry Trends
Influential Consumer Accessories Editors Share Their Thoughts on Style and Jewelry at JA New York
NEW YORK, Dec 21, 2003/ FW/ --- JA New York has invited some of the country's top fashion
and accessories editors to share their candid thoughts on style and trends with the jewelry
industry in a new session at the winter 2004 show titled, "Editors Speak Out."
Sponsored by Le Vian, the seminar will take place on Tuesday, January 27 from 10:30 A.M. -
12:00 P.M. in Room 1E-02 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.
JA New York winter 2004 show dates are January 25 - 27.
"Publicity drives sales," says Drew Lawsky, show director of JA New York.
"Attending this roundtable will give attendees an understanding of what editors look
for and how to make sure jewelry collections and stores get coverage."
Organized and moderated by PR counselor for JA New York, Nancy Trent, panelists will
include Jill Newman of The Robb Report, Melissa Goldstein of Town & Country, Stacey
Lapidus of Vanity Fair, Genevieve Yraola of Marie Claire, Hedy Gold of Cosmopolitan,
Ashley Kennedy of Lucky, Bozhena Orekhova of GQ, and Denise O'Donoghue of Bride's.
"Fashion and accessories editors know the scoop and have the definite word on style
and trends," explained Ms. Trent.
"We've asked these journalists to share their candid views and anecdotes with the
designers, retailers and consultants in the audience."
