Calvin Klein Launches ‘ck Calvin Klein’ Bridge Line

MILAN, Jun 16, 2005/ FW/ – Calvin Klein, Inc, recently announced the launch of a bridge line of women’s and men’s apparel and accessories to be marketed under the ‘ck Calvin Klein’ brand throughout Europe and various territories in the Middle East.

A wholly owned subsidiary of the fashion giant Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, the ‘ck Calvin Klein’ bridge collection is expected to be launched in selected department stores in Spring 2006.

This new arrangement with an affiliate of Fingen SpA, which already have a long standing relationship with CKI through the licenses with its affiliates, includes the planned opening of over 50 ‘ck Calvin Klein’ freestanding stores in Europe and the Middle East over the first five years of operation, carrying a full selection of bridge merchandise as well as Calvin Klein Jeans product.

The expansion of the bridge line is the next step in the company’s strategic re-establishment of the brand globally, after being present in Asia with freestanding ‘ck Calvin Klein’ stores since 2003.
