Destiny's Child

MILAN, May 31, 2005/ FW/ --- The stylish women of Destiny’s Child graced Milan with a tour date last week of the Destiny Fulfilled Tour. The stylish women of the group are in full swing during this tour with unbeatable fashions.

The spectacular outfits that were worn during the 2-hour show ranged from floor length Mermaid gowns to tank tops and jeans.

This trio is not only talented but also naturally beautiful. From singing their 1997 hit “No, No, No No No” to singing their newest hit “Girl”, these women had energy through every set change and dance routine.

Some of the noted labels worn on stage were Giorgio Armani and Valentino who both got a personal thank you at the end of the concert by Beyoncé Knowles. Mentionable gowns were their signature royal blue mermaid gowns that made them really look like Diana Ross and The Supremes in their prime.

These gowns were very theatrical with their wide flare bottoms as the rotating stage twirled them around like a ballroom Barbie. For Beyonce’s solo performance, she opted for a body hugging white floral corseted gown. These young women, especially Beyonce, are working their way up to Diva and Fashion Icon status quickly.

The performance as well as the fashions during the show was spectacular. As the women of Destiny’s Child danced and ran in 4 inched heels the entire performance, the production ended with them soaking wet with a rain forest set in nothing but tanks and jeans barefoot.

With the introduction of Beyonce and her mother/stylist Tina Knowles’ new fashion line House of Dereon, it was expected to see more of their own designs in the production. We will simply have to wait until later this year when the line launches to see what the lady of the hour has to say about fashion.
