Hilary Swank and Leonardo DiCaprio Nab Top Trophies at Golden Globe

Golden Globe Awards LOS ANGELES, Jan 17, 2005/ FW/ --- Hilary Swank and Leonardo DiCaprio just increased their chances of winning the Oscar statuettes last night by nabbing respectively, the best actress and actor in a leading role-drama, at the 62nd annual Golden Globe Awards.

DiCaprio who played the lead role on “The Aviator,” an epic drama about the life of billionaire Howard Hughes, won for best dramatic movie and also picked up a best actor Globe for star Leonardo DiCaprio as well as the award for best musical score.

Hilary Swank won the best drama actress Globe for "Million Dollar Baby," a movie by Clint Eastwood, wherein she played a determined boxer whose life takes a tragic turn.
