Divine Design Names Lauren Gurvich as Fashion Director for 2006 Event
LOS ANGELES, Mar 15, 2006/ FW/ --- Divine Design, the premier retail charity event benefiting Project Angel Food daily meal delivery program in Los Angeles for men, women and children disabled by serious illnesses announced today the appointment of Lauren Gurvich as Fashion Director for its 2006 event.
As Fashion Director, Gurvich will form an influential Fashion committee that will work closely with Lauren and Project Angel Food to leverage fashion donors and involvement, garner fashion product/donations to be sold in the marketplace at Divine Design, and she will also assist in confirming this year’s Divine Designer, Man of Style and Woman of Style.

She possesses the leadership, vision and power to get many people in the fashion world involved this year to make this year’s Divine Design the best it has ever been.” John Gile, Executive Director, Project Angel Food said in a statement.
In joining Divine Design, Gurvich brings with her years of experience in fashion & lifestyle marketing. A consultant to IMG/ 7th on Sixth and many other high profile clientele in fashion & lifestyle, she was also formerly the West Coast Director of Sales & Marketing for IMG/ 7th on Sixth as well as the mastermind behind the very successful Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios “The Design Suites”
Divine Design, now entering its 11th year, has raised more than $13 million to help fund Project Angel Food’s meal-delivery program throughout Los Angeles County. Divine Design is Los Angeles' premier fashion and design shopping event benefiting Project Angel Food.
It includes six days of incredible shopping at ''charitable prices'' for fashion, home, electronics, accessories, cosmetics and spa products generously donated by top designers and manufacturers with 100% of the proceeds going to Project Angel Food.
Every year, opening night of Divine Design begins with an awards ceremony to honor Man of Style, Woman of Style, a Divine Designer, and a Corporate Humanitarian Award.
