LOS ANGELES, May 11, 2007 / FW --- Opening its flagship store last May 1, AVITA, the luxury contemporary line of cashmere and bamboo apparel held an eco-friendly fashion show showcasing its Fall 2007 collection of silk cashmere blends, recycled cashmere and a selection of basic bamboo tops.
Since its inception, Avita has taken a fresh approach to fashion not only for designs offering women new ways of wearing both cashmere and bamboo but also for being among the pioneers in eco friendly glamour.
Buttery soft and supple, bamboo breathes and drapes better than cotton, and does not wrinkle as much compared to 100% cotton.
Long before ‘eco-friendly’ was a buzzword; Avita has incorporated it in its design philosophy. Its flagship store, AVITA CO-OP, located at 8213 West Third West Hollywood had been designed to reflect a dedication to harmony and balance.
The Avita Co-op Store also encourages an eco-friendly lifestyle with store furnishings and fixtures made using sustainable materials.
Aside from its flagship store, Avita is also available on the website,
www.avitastyle.com and
across the country in specialty boutiques.
