NEW YORK, Feb 6, 2008 / FW/ — In what arguably is his best collection yet, Bryan Bradley just defined the New York look in this engaging, just beautiful and aspirational collection.
Beautiful pairings of delicious colors from saffron orange and deep purple to green and butter scotch yellow, then trimmed with shirred fur, the Tuleh Fall 2008 collection successfully captured the elusive “understated elegance” that most luxury designers seem to have forgotten nowadays.
Hourglass silhouettes were executed on brocades with cashmere tops or cashmere with lace over tulle. Bryan Bradley did not leave anything to chance. Everything was thought of, almost philosophical in his execution.
Flounce skirts with horse trimmings for fullness and illusion or really small waist; python skinny belts in its original colors or dipped in mercury or brass metallics. The bags are just the right size with a simple fold over the top, and this could easily be THE BAG of the season.
Fashion critics have always said that there is no such thing as a New York look the way London, Milan and Paris have, wherein you will see a silhouette and knew what city they came from.
With Tuleh’s Fall 2008 collection, these fashion grouses can finally rest that criticism against New York to rest. The only thing they have to do is look at Bryan Bradley’s collection and see what New York is all about!
