BCBG Max AzriaNEW YORK, Feb 8, 2008 / FW/ — With three shows by Max Azria this season, it is really hard to keep up with the Los Angeles-based designer. Where he gets his energy is already amazing; the fact that this the first time in the history of the New York fashion season that a designer is having three runway shows in a span of 8 days puts Max Azria in the history books already.

Opting for a neutral color palette, BCBG Max Azria proposed dresses, be it daywear or eveningwear. The silhouette is slim and frankly, there is nothing new there. What made this collection interesting are the collars. From oversized ruffles courtesy of tiny sheering on the neckline to a quilted double collar reminiscent of a knight’s armor, Max Azria hit the perfect balance between romance and strength.

Mini balloon skirts that are sometimes pleated made up most of the separates. Skinny leather belts were twisted into a knot instead of using the buckles. Color combination is usually tone-on-tone. Max Azria is giving the BCBG fans ease of dressing.
