Bradley Bayou LOS ANGELES, Oct 22, 2005/ FW/ --- After a 2-year stint at Halston, Bradley Bayou is once again back in Los Angeles full time to concentrate on his eponymous line, debuting at the Smashbox Studios Thursday night with his an enthralling collection that received a standing ovation from a very appreciative audience.

With Mike Tyson sitting front row, the Texas-born designer presented 24 exquisite structured silhouettes with very elaborate detailing and ornamentation that includes beading, embroidery and semi-precious stones encrustation.

Bayou who has dressed some of the most beautiful women in the world, Halle Berry, Geena Davis, Salma Hayek, Drew Barrymore, and Oprah Winfrey, just to name a few, is not a stranger to high fashion.

His creations that always border on haute couture have been a favorite of the social set here in the U.S. and in Europe. Known for his use of luxe fabrics and masterful tailoring, the host of Lifetime’s ‘Operation Style’ caters to the modern woman who is self-assured and owns her sexuality.

Sexy without being overt, powerful without being brash, the Bradley Bayou lady dresses in a blue suede multi-panel suit with mother of pearl and topaz beaded shawl collar for day, then changes to the ivory hand pleated silk chiffon corset gown with floral screen print and appliqués for an evening at the opera.

Poised and sophisticated, Bradley Bayou proposes for her smoky pastels, strong blacks and vibrant colors for Spring / Summer 2006.

And judging from the deafening applause that Bradley Bayou received when he took his bow, all the pieces he presented will find its way in a woman’s wardrobe when March rolls around.
