Fabrics Interseason Spring 2006 PARIS, Nov 4, 2005/ FW/ --- As the internet generation comes of age (they are now 15), their very independent fashion taste is a windfall of designers like Fabrics Interseason wherein clothes are youthful, avant-garde and defies trends.

Presenting the label’s Spring / Summer 2006 collection during the Paris Pręt-a-porter season last March, Spanish conquistador-inspired skirts with a 6-inch band hugging the thighs, double belted slim cut Capri pants and circa 1970s gym shorts.

Seemingly eclectic and out of wack, it is actually a well thought of collection, wherein ‘established’ fashion trends were thrown out the window to come out with a very original interpretation that will catch the eyes of the free thinking internet generation.

Neither street nor urban wear; the progressive and tolerant aura of the collection is what makes it very eye-catching. The bias cut trench coat, gathered at the waist and the white translucent caftan worn over jumper shorts are so individualistic but not arrogant.

It’s a devil-may-care attitude that comes from being tolerant and open-minded. Fabrics Interseason might have been gaining a steady cult following through the years, and last March, that number probably increased more than everyone thought it did.
