PARIS, Feb 17, 2005/ FW/ --- Fred Sathal signed a Spring – Summer 2005 couture collection replete with emotion, movement and colour. The collection is a small one of less than 25 silhouettes, but has a lot of excitement and fun to it.

Most pieces in the collection have embellishments to them in colourful detailing. A great deal of them is done in an array of diverse fabrics creating an early 1970’s feel gaiety to them, which sometimes lends itself to a gypsy tones.

In addition to her short dresses, Sathal created long, sans souci dresses for the evening in light, easy to wear fabrics. This is certainly a collection for a very specific clientele who knows well in advance what it wants…
