MILAN, Jan 19, 2005/ FW/ --- Lindberg continues to make a statement by introducing industrial skills to a hard edge design. His autumn/winter 2005 collection is based on the Robert Redford of the 70’s.
The collection was very wearable consisting of very basic colours of Navy Blue, black, grey and white. Dark denim has been a key piece in just about every collection this season and Lindberg used it well by teaming it with sweaters and long cardigans.
Lindberg took to progressive tailoring of basic menswear items and made them work as individual pieces. The top coat, waist coat and blazers were paired with cord and denim trousers styled with scarves and often suit ties.
This collection also included an innovative futuristic ski range that expanded to incorporate basic ski items into everyday wardrobe. The ski jacket and Alpine ski boots were featured.
J. Lindberg has extended his brand line by including shoes and jewelry. Along with the ski boot, the Brogue is a staple shoe for the collection. The jewelry range is in all sterling silver showing money clips, charm bracelets and locket chains.
The Lindberg man is made of confidence with a classic edge.
