MILAN, Sep 28, 2004/ FW/ --- Gaining inspiration from many different countries and cultures, Lancetti presented a collection full of mystic silhouettes with a psychedelic flare.

Belted kimonos in silk were continually seen throughout the show giving way to a new age urban geisha girl theme. The garments had a softness and fluidity to the form. In light iridescent colours of aqua, peach and white, the Lancetti print looked great on hot pants, leggings and tops.

The secret of Icarius is all about the light effect and illusion making the garments beams off the runway. Male models wore relaxed shorts and trousers styled with oversized his bags.

Tassel clutch purses ornamented with tassels were significant to many looks of the collection as well as the tambourine shaped purses. Gaining inspiration from Brazilian Carnival, Lancetti gave us detail trimmings of diamantes and embroidered neck lines and hems.

Moving onto eveningwear for an Indian summer, the designer presented a mixture of fluorescent orange, peach and sherbet dresses in chiffon.

Each dress had a 70’s flare with pleats and shelling, loose fit and high waste lines. This minimal folk collection was all about detail and mythical colour.
