NEW YORK, Sep 10, 2004/ FW/ -- With Chyna Phillips, who was expecting a baby in a few months, sitting front row, the most beautiful models of the week with their natural glows, walked the runway under the tents at Bryant Park.
Putting expectant mothers on center stage, Liz Lange, a pioneer on high-end and high style maternity dressing showed a profound understanding of American sensibility and beauty mixed with a contemporary edge.
Very wearable day, evening and even swimwear was highlighted on her Spring 2005 series. Palm prints, pinstripe and Liz Lange monogrammed in cotton fabrics were part and parcel of the total look.
As every woman who had ever been pregnant knows, one needs to wear clothes that can breath and gives comfort but certainly not to take away the style and classiness a woman always desires.
The designer even showed some cashmere pieces that can be matched up with most of the pieces. And just because you're expecting, one must always accessorize, this is always one of the key ingredients to dressing up.
Liz Lange gives the expectant mother all that and more with her Spring 2005 collection.
