Michel Harcourt Returns To The Catwalk For Fall/Winter 2005 - 2006

PARIS, Apr 9, 2005/ FW/ --- Michel Harcourt began his Fall 2005 - Winter 2006 collection with his beautiful silk gabardine trench coat worn with a voluminous skirt in lace.

He quickly moved on to a stylish hunting suit-inspired silhouette composed of short cavalier pants with English plaids and a hunting jacket in deep brown velvet.

In this collection, which is also his return to the Paris runways after a much-noticed absence, Harcourt worked to created silhouettes that provide a wide margin of liberty and individuality to women.

This type of strategy has proved on more than one occasion in the past to be the undoing of many designers. However, Harcourt pulled it off with the ease of a skilled couturier.

His ensemble composed of a kimono jacket in duchess satin worn with a trapeze skirt too in duchess satin was a crowd pleaser.

For dressier occasions, Harcourt created the perfect little black dress. His is in embroidered wool-crepe organza.

This little number is sure to please any woman with a full schedule, yet who gives attention to the detail of style.

Harcourt’s little black dress is only surpassed in elegance by his more formal evening dresses. Two of these creations are in Moroccan crepe. One of these dresses even has a scarf integrated into its back for a touch of eye-catching drama.
