NEW YORK, Feb 7, 2007 / FW --- Perhaps it is the Oscar factor, or maybe, Naeem Khan is so good in creating eveningwear that the whole of his Fall 2007 collection is meant for the ladies to wear at night.

Oh, he sent out dresses, but please put ‘cocktail’ in front of the word ‘dress’. Interspersed with the willowy and svelte gowns, Naeem Khan made sure that from the red carpet, the ‘Dreamgirls’ would change into one of the cocktail dresses to wear at the party.

And Khan is thinking of the milder California winter, too. Square and V-neck metallic dresses and strapless & halter-neck gowns were proposed as they were; no shawls or coats except for a few evening jackets that were embellished with hand-cut glass mirrors.

Still, this collection is what glamour dreams are made of. Khan who is already a favorite among the Fifth Avenue social set is fast becoming a favorite among the Hollywood elite.
