Pamella Roland is a nom de guerre in a manner of speaking. It’s the name that Pamella DeVos and Ron Leal came up with for their new clothing label.
It was Pamella DeVos, who convinced Ron Leal who was already designing a womenswear collection under his own name, to create another line of women’s clothing.
Something for “someone like me who doesn't have time to worry about what to wear,” said Pamella Roland, who admires Ron Leal’s design and very interested in the fashion business.
And, “Pamella Roland” was born, with Pamella Devos in-charge of the business end and Ron
Leal taking care of the creative end. Devos also acts a co-designer for the label.
A recognized name in the U.S. for his sportswear and eveningwear line of clothing, American-born Ron Leal started his design career training in Milan. His eponymous label “Ron Leal” is already being sold at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Holt Renfrew when he started Pamella Roland.
Always up for a new challenge, Ron Leal took up designing Pamella Roland bringing into it his mastery of classic styles and knowledge of fine fabrics.
He designs four collections a year, two for “Ron Leal” and two for Pamella Roland.
