Jacquelyne Love LOS ANGELES, Nov 9, 2005/ FW/ --- Jacquelyne Love believes that fashion cares, so when she previewed her Spring / Summer 2006 collection last Oct 10 here in Los Angeles, its theme was ‘Fashion For Passion’ wherein the American Red Cross became the recipient of a donation of $202,000 for its Disaster Relief Fund.

Debuting her eponymous label with a live concert by the Beach Boys with special guest drummer John Stamos at one of Hollywood’s hottest nightspots, the Cabana Club, the Jacquelyne Love swimwear line took center stage.

With her inspiration as the ‘sensuous mystique of the Brazilian women,’ the bikinis and one-piece swimsuits cut from premium Brazilian fabrics, some with hand crochet and jeweled embellishment competed with the excitement generated by the songs of the Beach Boys.

Combining a concert, catwalk show and online charity auction was the brainchild of Jacquelyne Love and her legendary rocker husband Mike Love of The Beach Boys.

FASHION FOR PASSION online bidders at www.charityfolks.com, had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a private concert from the Beach Boys as well as the chance to make music history with a debut performance, singing “Barbara Ann” on stage with this legendary group!

Other impressive auction highlights included amazing Beach Boys memorabilia, a 6 piece custom wardrobe from Jacquelyne Love’s Spring 2006 collection, one of a kind hand crocheted Brazilian swimsuit, amazing trips such as a seven night southern Caribbean cruise and a Rio de Janeiro getaway, as well as the ultimate couture Diamond Earrings & Ring accessories from acclaimed designer Charles Winston.

Celebrity guests in support of this benefit included Elisha Cuthbert, Nia Vardalos, Ian Gomez, Elizabeth Rohm and Bob Saget.
