MILAN, Feb 24, 2005/ FW/ --- Trend Les Copains grasped many of the turnover trends for next winter. Elaborate and decorative, the collection was full of embroidery, falling rouches and volants with luxurious inlays of chiffon.

The colours were very classic including scarlet red, ecru, ink black and powder pink. The combination of red, grey, white and black on many checkered pieces and outfits were note worthy.

Although the collection did not have a strategic theme, tailoring and middle class leisure was for front. This collection is for the young lady of leisure who may want that extravagant daytime piece.

Cocktail coats and gipsy skirts are a must. Many other romantic skirts and trouser suits were included which were slimming yet fanciful. Pencil skirts with a small flare looked great with maximum tailored riding waist jackets. The glamour of fur was ever present. Coats dragged along the floor and should be worn alone.

The collection also over indulged in many different horse riding outfits full with riding trousers, caps and diamante studded whips. A scarlet red horse riding outfit stood out the most with velvet cap. The riding boots were made more glamorous with a heel as well as the under shirts of the jackets were filled with gigantic ruffles in white.

Animal brooches, fur roses and swarosvki applicades on tulle were the accessories of the hour. Wonderful fluid dresses in outlandish fabrics and colours of gold with intense beading changed the mood of the collection. These gowns ended the show and looked like they should be worn as show gowns for ball room competitions.

Precious, luxurious and exuberant is the definition of ….Trend Les Copains autumn/winter collection.
