MILAN, Sep 30, 2005/ FW/ – Antonio Berardi’s first season with Trend Les Copains has his distinct perceptive fingerprint all over it.
Turning a prior girly label into something of the sultry sexy, Berardi concentrates on the body as he cuts architectural structured lines into a spring summer 2006 wardrobe full of surprises.
Playing with volume on the upper body, trenches and short jackets hide a slim silhouette that
hints at ethnic chic and seventies details.
Safari jackets and wooden heels disappear from the jungle to take over the city leaving Trend Les Copains to dominate the metropolis head on.
Waists are tightened with triple belts, skirts are straight and lean while shorts become the new must have addition to any fashion conscious girls wardrobe, though if trousers are your preference they are rigorously high waisted.
Knitwear intermingles with fabric and acts as sought after detail to dresses and as interchangeable item and jungle prints run through the collection that comes in a palette of sun drenched desert shades from gold to light greens.
Trend Les Copains is warm and sensual for a summer full of attention and desire for expression of liberalism and freethinking entertainment.
