DALLAS, Sep 19, 2005/ FW/ --- ‘Expect the unexpected,’ seems to be Bryan Bradley’s mantra for Tuleh this season that mixed earth tones and bolder colors of spring and summer.
Bradley who had been solely at the creative helm of Tuleh since Josh Patner left had continued the label’s design philosophy of creating feminine pieces that accentuate the beauty of the woman.
With this collection, Bradley raised the bar higher by sending a mix of frilly dresses and masculine pantsuit sets, as if saying, ‘women can be pretty and strong at the same time.’
Trench coats in washout gray floral prints or silver jacquard is not the usual spring colors, but Bradley’s cuts made them very attractive and actually very coherent for the season.
Swimswear in olive and lime green – again, another unexpected combination and hues for summer, yet very attractive and sensible.
Of course, the red carpet factor was also present with the luminous purple gown and the strapless empire waist frock in old rose.
Now, the question is… who will get a hold of it first in March when the collection hits the store shelves of Barney’s and Saks Fifth Avenue?
