NEW YORK, Nov 13, 2003/ FW/ --- Twinkle by Wenlan presented its Spring 2004 collection in
Bryant Park last September and it was simply beautiful.
The clothing line was very spring and at times felt as if it were back in the 1970s with a
youthful flounce.
Using the regular blacks and whites, Twinkle also incorporated blues yellows, pale greens,
creams and the occasional print to make a beautiful collection.
Twinkle’s purple butterfly print silk chiffon French Riveria dress was amazing.
The dresses in the collection were delicately feminine and light for the spring
and summer months.
A silk bowtie dress in a mosaic of colors including browns, reds, yellow, teal and purple
was lovely.
Aside from the dresses, Twinkle had white low riding wide leg trousers in cotton and linen
that were fabulously matched with a blue silk top.
White cigarette pants and a variety of ruffled skirts rounded out the collection nicely.
Overall, it was Twinkle’s dresses that made the show, they were all lovely no matter if they
were a simple short dress in a rainbow of color or a tiered dress of silk.
This is a designer worth checking out for lovely, light dresses.
