As usual, the color palette was simple: black, white and gray with the occasional print or red thrown in. New York/ FW/ --- On Your Mark, Get Set, Show! Francis Hendy was more than ready to show off his Spring 2002 collection which was inspired by everyone from Nascar racers to tropical vacationers. An explosion of color opened the show with an array of slouchy comfortable bottoms and tops (and sometimes just bottoms). Hendy used various dying techniques to create his printed garments from batik to tie-dye to grafitti-style spray paint. [more]

The designer, out of respect to the victims of the World Trade Center attack cancelled his show altogether. On Monday, November 5, 2001, Lloyd Klein again shows his heart.
