New York, Oct 9, 2001/ FWD/ --- For Spring 2002 Helmut Lang went for romantic, playful
and a bit rough around the edges. As usual, the color palette was simple: black, white
and gray with the occasional print or red thrown in. Much more complicated was figuring
out the design, shape and number of items worn by the models.

Francis Hendy Spring 2002
New York/ FW/ --- On Your Mark, Get Set, Show!
Francis Hendy was more than ready to show off his Spring 2002 collection which was
inspired by everyone from Nascar racers to tropical vacationers. An explosion of color
opened the show with an array of slouchy comfortable bottoms and tops (and sometimes
just bottoms). Hendy used various dying techniques to create his printed garments from
batik to tie-dye to grafitti-style spray paint.

New York/ FW/ --- Keanan Duffty told his fashion audience that it's only rock n roll,
but he likes it. With a fan base that includes David Bowie, there is certainly nothing
wrong with that. For Spring 2002, his style icons included everyone from Mr. Bowie to
the Sex Pistols to Adam Ant.

highly original use of slim leather gloves on fitted jackets and vests, in which the fingers
created a high fringed collar and cuff detailing.

Brill's Content & Inside.com Folds
Oct 15, 2001 /FWD/ -- Brill's Content has gone the way of dot-com journal The Industry
Standard and, more recently, Conde Nast old-timer Mademoiselle. Inside.com, the Web site
that Steven Brill purchased from Powerful Media for about $30 million last April, has also
been effectively shut down.

Lloyd Klein Helps Make Dreams Come True

Los Angeles, Oct 16, 2001/ FW/ --- For his third season in New York, Lloyd Klein was scheduled
to present his Spring 2002 Collection at the Hotel Plaza Athenee last September 14.
The designer, out of respect to the victims of the World Trade Center attack cancelled his
show altogether. On Monday, November 5, 2001, Lloyd Klein again shows his heart. He will be
presenting his Spring 2002 collection at the Dream Foundation's "Fashion Can Make Dreams Come
True" event.
