MILAN, Oct 2, 2002/ FWD/ --- Nothing beats a debut for adding a frisson of
excitement to editors and fashion folk, whose lot it is to sit through several
hundred fashion shows every September and March.
So it was that a huge crowd of editors-in-chief and fashion directors
descended to Superstudio in south Milan to see the first collection of Pucci
designed by French couturier Christian Lacroix.

excess, still has bets placed on his long winning formula of wooing
spotlight-obsessed starlets and tarty types.
Although they may have very little relevance for non-paparazzi events,
Cavalli's sexually charged, barely-there ensembles are just the ticket to ensure
a loud splash on the red carpet.

Ruffo Research Spring 2003

Antwerp-based designer with only a single collection under his belt, has been
getting a lot of hype these days.
The whirlwind of press coverage and industry fascination with the fledgling
Belgian designer probably has a lot to do with his recent appointment to head
designer at Ruffo Research.
