PARIS, Oct 14, 2002/ FWD/ --- Think Balenciaga, and activities such as scuba
diving and surfing don’t immediately spring to mind.
Yet they sprang to mind for designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, who sent out a
rather confused spring collection for the historically revered, and currently
cult, house.

editing and poor styling, it was the Stella Cadente show held last last
Saturday, October 5 at the Louvre.
To begin with, the clothes are on the right side of strange.

Keita Maruyama Spring 2003
PARIS, Oct 14, 2002/ FW/ --- There was a sweet lightness to this charming
collection from Keita Maruyama.
From delicate lace embroidery to simple strap dresses of scalloped chiffon,
an Oriental poetry flowed like haiku.

Haider Ackermann Spring 2003
PARIS, Oct 14, 2002/ FWD/ --- Everybody is watching Colombian-born,
Antwerp-trained Frenchman Haider Ackermann.
Based in Belgium, he was just seen in Milan where he presented his first
collection for the Italian leather house Ruffo Research.

Impasse De La DeFense Spring 2003

Paris schedule, the collection by Karim Bonnet for his label Impasse de la
Defense was a DIY sparkler.
