Ophelia Song F15 (16)NEW YORK, Feb 22, 2015/ — Benefiting Charity: Water is a non-profit organization bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations, Style Fashion Week NY under the auspices of New York Life staged a multi-designer catwalk show at the Lincoln Center on Feb 12th.

One of the designers is Ophelia Song, a Chinese-American fashion designer and founder of Ophelia Song and Shakespeare Republic.

Her bold and innovative designs combine western silhouettes with eastern delicate crafts. Her inspiration for this collection was elements of the ocean, bodies of water, and the noteworthy charitable efforts of Charity: Water.

Hair and make-up for the whole show was provided by Prive hair salon, make-up artist Benny Hancock, and Priti Nails. This season, the Series of Style shows featured unique collections produced by designers Metal Noir, Quynh Paris, Antti Asplund, Ophelia Song, and Daiki Shimizu.

Style Fashion Week presents unforgettable performances, diverse cultures of the world, and brings in international commerce season after season.

The Series of Style shows continue to be the highlight of Fashion Week with it’s international designers and celebrity attendance, garnering millions of impressions from local, national, and international media.

Since 2009, Style Fashion Week has been premiering world renowned collections during New York, Los Angeles, and Dubai Fashion Week.
