NEW YORK, Jun 26, 2013/ — Launching here eponymous denim line, designer Rebecca Minkoff partnered with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign to help end child hunger in America.

According to Share Our Strength’s website, nearly 1 in 5 children in America can’t count on having enough to eat.” Through its No Kid Hungry (http://www.nokidhungry.org/), Share our Strength has taken a major step to end childhood hunger.

As part of Rebecca Minkoff’s partnership with Share Our Strength, each purchase from the Rebecca Minkoff Denim collection, a donation will be triggered to No Kid Hungry, which can connect a child in need with up to 20 meals, such as school breakfasts and summer meals.

And to help Ms. Minkoff launch her new denim collection and this charitable endeavor, her celebrity and industry influencer friends gathered the penthouse of the Mondrian SoHo to celebrate and show their support.

Stacy Keibler, Zosia Mamet & Evan Jonigkeit, Jessica Stam, Dakota Johnson, Phoebe Tonkin, Abby Elliott, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Maika Monroe, Julie Henderson, Katrina Bowden, Leigh Lezark, Athena Calderone, Leandra Medine of The Man Repeller, Uri Minkoff were there to fete the new Rebecca Minkoff denim line.

The Rebecca Minkoff DENIM consists of five denim styles (a boyfriend, two skinnies, and two shorts) and two t-shirt styles. Utilizing the top denim mills, all of Rebecca Minkoff DENIM is made in the heart of downtown Los Angeles with the finest quality, locally-sourced, power stretch fabrics.
