DALLAS, Aug 24, 2003/ FW/ -- One of the world's top photographers has plenty of tips on how to
take better pictures, all part of a new regional photo essay contest.
If you've ever wanted to take better pictures, you just got a little help.
Renowned photographer and author Nick Kelsh has joined forces with Viva Paper
Towels and is offering photo tips as part of the Soak Up Life Tour.
The whole month of August, he'll be traveling the Northeast to photograph the unexpected in search of
life's fun and memorable moments.
The photos, due out in September, will capture a "day in the life" of Northeastern festivals.
"Viva Towels has asked me to document their Soak Up Life Tour, going to different
festivals in the Northeast. And what I'm doing is photographing everyday people
enjoying their families and hanging out together and we're posting them on a
website, Vivatowels.com," said
Nick Kelsh in an interview.
"There's a list of tips there, and if you really try and absorb those tips, it'll
make a huge difference. And it's very simple, just get closer, shoot more
pictures and watch the magic happen." Kelsh added.
Kelsh adds that with new advancement's in digital photography, catching life's
most memorable moments just got a lot easier.
