NEW YORK, Dec 18, 2001/ --- Julia Roberts may be losing her grip on the title of "America's Sweetheart" if the latest E! Top Entertainer of 2001 list is anything to go by.

Nicole Kidman has beaten out Roberts and the ubiquitous Jennifer Lopez to take out the title of Top Entertainer. Lopez came in second, followed by boy band *NSync, then came Roberts in fourth position.

Tough guy James Gandolfini took out fifth place, followed by Destiny's Child, Eddie Murphy and Britney Spears. Television comedian Ray Romano and talk show co-host Kelly Ripa rounded out the Top 10.

Material mom Madonna was voted 12th Top Entertainer, while Jennifer Aniston just slipped in at 20th position.
