LOS ANGELES, Jun 3, 2003 / FW/ -- It'll be over a year before moviegoers will be able to revisit that galaxy far,
far away -- but in the meantime, they can get their Star Wars fix on the web.
From June 5-9, www.starwars.com --
the official Star Wars website -- will
offer a free "sneak preview" of HYPERSPACE, a new subscription site designed to
satisfy even the most devoted Jedi fan. HYPERSPACE, named for the
faster-than-light dimension in which the Millennium Falcon travels, will cost
just $19.95 a year and will give subscribers the latest news from the set of
Star Wars Episode III.
Episode III begins shooting this month and is expected to hit theaters in
summer 2005. By going into HYPERSPACE, fans can participate in live web chats
with the cast and crew and have an unprecedented peek at footage from the highly
anticipated new movie. It will also include never-before-seen scenes that didn't
make it into Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
For details about getting a free view of HYPERSPACE, go to
