DALLAS, Aug 6, 2002/ FW/ --- August 16th marks the 25th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death -- and today, Elvis not only remains popular -- his influence is everywhere.

Peter Guralnick, Elvis biographer and music historian, is a contributing editor to a new Bookazine -- Elvis, Then and Now.

Elvis' appeal was unique, it was based on a democratic vision, and the ability to communicate each song as if he had lived every word of it.
