From New York to San Francisco, sexy male and female models sporting the exclusive W - Joe Boxer underwear encouraged guests to 'hang loose' at W Hotels across the country.

The 'Hang Loose' campaign celebrated the official announcement of the National Boxers VS. Brief VS. Bare Survey asking Americans which top celebrities are boxers, briefs or "commando" men.

To kick off the event, all W's will offer a special summer weekend package featuring reduced rates (starting at $109 a night), a pair of Joe Boxer W briefs, and two free drinks at the hotel's bar(s).

Each of the 16 hotels hosted its own underwear-themed event last Tuesday.

W Hotel New York had models walk thru Times Square wearing only Joe Boxer shorts and a tie. W Los Angeles in Westwood took guests to the "hottest" elevator ride, where fashionable underwear models giving guests and reporters a "lift."

W San Diego, which hasn't been built yet, but whose construction workers will be challenged to work in their underwear for a day; and the W San Francisco, which will end its day-long festivities with a Twister match.
