Jan 20, 2003/ FW/ -- In Revolution Studios' charming romantic comedy Maid in Manhattan, Jennifer Lopez stars as a hard-working, intelligent and determined single mother who dreams of a better life.

While struggling as a housekeeper at Manhattan's first-class Beresford Hotel, she falls for a rising politician, who mistakenly assumes she's a socialite guest at the hotel.

Will a hotel worker from the Bronx and a well-heeled gentleman from midtown Manhattan risk it all for a chance at romance?

Brian Osuch interviews Jennifer Lopez

From TV, to music, to the big screen, Jennifer Lopez is virtually everywhere. Although her latest movie, Maid In Manhattan was released during the holiday season, it's consistently in the top five at the box office.

Brian Osuch spoke with Jennifer about why she decided to make the movie.

Jennifer Lopez: This producer friend of mine told me that she had this project, and we started talking about it, and somehow, she just started tailoring it toward me. You know, and I just had a lot of input with it, and it was a lot of fun for me, cause it was such a collaborative project. I just wanted to do it, her being Puerto Rican and from the Bronx, you know, it was kind of a no brainer for me.

Brian Osuch: She's says the movie is for everybody.

Jennifer Lopez: I think anybody can kind of get into it, you know what I mean, it's like any type of movie, it doesn't mater if it's a romantic comedy or an action movie, it's like, only guys want to see action movies, and only girls want to go see romantic comedies. The bottom line is, if it's a cool movie that kind of touches you it doesn't matter. You know what I mean, anybody wants to go see it.

Brian Osuch: Jennifer has two more movies slated to come out later this year.
