DALLAS, Apr 5, 2004/ FW/ --- Mother’s Day is just around the corner and if you are still thinking of what to give her this season, how about a diamond ring?

Austin-based Commemorative Brands will acknowledge deserving Mothers across the country with diamonds this Mother's Day by hosting an essay contest with the theme, “My Mother Is A Gem.”

Five winners will be selected based on their creative essay on why "My Mom is a Gem" and will win their Mom a beautiful genuine diamond and gemstone Mother's Ring retailing for $447.

To enter to win the diamond and gemstone Mother's Ring, contestants must submit an essay of 250 words or less explaining why their Mom is a true gem. Entries must include a photo of the woman they are nominating along with the entrant's name, address and telephone number. All entries must be postmarked or submitted via email by April 26, 2004.

The 14 carat gold ring features 1/4 carat in diamond accents and six princess-cut genuine gemstones of your choice. As a true Mother's Ring, the ring features four areas of personalization (two with 10 characters and two with 21 characters) to showcase up to six names of children or grandchildren or allows you engrave a personal message. The five selected winners will be offered the engraving of their choice free of charge. The Mother's Ring is available for purchase at Sam's Club nationwide.

Winners will be chosen by Commemorative Brands and will be notified by May 3, 2004. Each winner will receive a Mother's Ring with their choice of genuine gemstones and personalization compliments of Commemorative Brands.
