Vail Resorts Kicks Off the New Year with January Ski Deals at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Heavenly

Jan 6, 2004/ FW/ --- You see it on TV, you hear about celebrities doing it, and this winter, it is your turn to be there!

Ring in the New Year by treating yourself or someone else to go skiing this winter. There couldn't be a better time to plan a winter vacation with all of the resorts reporting between one and three feet of snow since January 1, 2004.

Vail

January is a great time to get away for a ski or snowboard vacation and the mid-season deals at Vail make it hard to resist. Beaver Creek

The Talons Challenge at Beaver Creek makes for a great New Year's resolution for those who are ready to test their limits. The Talons Challenge, offered through Beaver Creek's Ski & Snowboard School, is an opportunity for students to ski some of Beaver Creek's most difficult terrain, known as the Talons.

Guests can reserve The Talons Challenge Package, which starts at $501 per person. The package offers four nights of lodging, four days of skiing and three consecutive adult group ski or snowboard lessons that can be used toward completing The Talons Challenge. Offer is based on quad occupancy in a two-bedroom condo at participating properties. A four-night minimum stay is required. Offer is available Jan. 5-Feb. 12, 2004. Breckenridge

Start off the New Year with a winter vacation in Breckenridge. Walk to the lift from The Great Divide Lodge, located across the street from the Beaver Run SuperChair on Peak 9. Keystone's Big Deal ensures skiers and snowboarders won't break the bank this winter with rooms at the Inn at Keystone and Studio Condos starting at $69 on weekdays and $89 on weekends. Guests can also stay in a two-bedroom condo for $109 per night during the week and $129 on weekends.

Or come experience the magic of a two-bedroom condo in the heart of Keystone's River Run Village for $149 Sunday-Thursday nights, and $169 Friday and Saturday nights. The entire package starts at $219 per person based on double occupancy. Price applies to three mid-week nights, three days of skiing or riding and varies depending on property, room type and dates of stay. Package is subject to availability. Treat the family to a Heavenly winter vacation starting as low as $1,212 for a family of four. The package includes five nights at Lakeland Village and five days of skiing or boarding, plus free tubing for the kids, starting at just $1,212 for a family of four. If that isn't enough, the resort will throw in a free Heavenly hat for each person. Pricing is based on two adults with two children 12 years of age or younger.
